Based in Newton, Massachusetts, William Keeney is a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor with more than 25 years of wealth management experience. He has been with Merrill Lynch since 2002, during which time he has developed relationships with and managed portfolios for high-net-worth clients. William Keeney assesses each client's financial objectives and risk tolerance, creating unique investment strategies with attention to tax and estate planning.

As SVP of Merrill Lynch's Newton office, Mr. Keeney oversees a team of financial advisors and analysts, participates in various business development endeavors, and ensures compliance with industry regulations. He has been named to Forbes' Best-in-State Wealth Advisors in 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Before joining Merrill Lynch, William Keeney spent four years at Morgan Stanley. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Bentley University. Outside of his professional pursuits, he is vice president of the Larz Anderson Auto Museum and enjoys hobbies such as skiing, hiking, and participating in car rallies.
